In 2001 Rev. Brian Arnold, the pastor the Flo-In Circuit, approached Thomas Andrew about
the P.E.T. Mission, and asked him if he would become involved in fabricating the cart carriage frames. Tom said he would,
but wouldn't handle any of the financing but help whenever he could in the fabrication. Tom started this project
with his brother Dallas. In April, 2001, Rev. Arnold and Tom delivered 2 prototype frames to Columbia, MO to verify
that the frames were made properly. On August 22, 2001 we delivered the first load of 71 frames to Columbia, MO.
On May 6 and 7, 2002, we delivered the first load of 141 frames to Pennyfarms, Florida. The financing for this mission
has come mostly from churches and individuals in the area. The Florida United Methodist Endowment Committee has been
one of the largest contributors to the funding of this mission. The two brothers are still creating the frames to assist
disabled individuals in underdeveloped countries to move around their communities. They have proudly fabricated over
10,000 frames thus far.
