Florida UMC Enjoys Dinner at Essen Haus Near Pettisville
Florida UMC went to the Essen Haus near Pettisville, OH on Monday, May 24 for a time of fellowship
while enjoying a buffet meal. Some from Independence UMC joined us for the delicious meal!
Napoleon Area Christian Men's Group Perform at Flo-In Churches
Both Independence and Florida United Methodist Churches were pleased to have the Napoleon Area
Christian Men's Group share special music during the May 16 services at 9:00 am and then 10:30 am.
Temperance, Michigan Musician Performs at Flo-In Churches May 23
Lyman Robertson of Temperance, Michigan, performed his composition, "Always Here With Me,"
at both churches on May 23, 2010. He has been performing since the '90's. We thank him for his wonderful
music.

On Sunday evening June 13 many enjoyed pizza, popcorn, and
pop before watching the movie, "Blind Side", on our big screen in the sanctuary.
Independence Holds Its Annual Marina Sale
The community enjoyed the bake sale and food for sale at the Independence Church's Annual Marina
Sale over the Memorial Day Weekend at Independence State Dam Park.
